Hi everyone and welcome to this months new event of Make it Happen Blog Hop! Five bloggers, including myself , have formed an alliance to challenge ourselves in different capacities over the next 12 months. So far we have had an Eggnog Challenge, Cooking Challenge, a Book Challenge, a Photography Challenge and a Let’s Get Physical Challenge. So this month to start the New Year off right we decided to share our Top 5 Blog Posts of 2015. After blogging for a complete full calendar year I thought it was really interesting to see what all you amazing readers of An Italian in my Kitchen liked the most, and here they are.
Top 5 Blog Posts of 2015
I can’t say I don’t agree because this is one of my families favourite casseroles, and my eldest daughter’s absolute favourite. As she says “pasta, a creamy white sauce, Parmesan cheese and my favourite vegetable of all, peas. It can’t get any better than this”. Of course if peas aren’t your thing you can always substitute with another veggie.
Personally I couldn’t have chosen a better and yummier cookie than this one! I love these and so does everyone else when I let them have one. Thick, soft and full of chips, the perfect cookie in my opinion. So if you ever have the desire for a Best cookie ever you have to try this one!
If there is a winter vegetable that my husband plants a lot of, it has to be Broccoli. Sometimes finding different ways to cook it can be quite the challenge. But this my friends turned out to be a complete success. The mixture of Broccoli, a simple tomato sauce and cheese and then baked in the oven was delizioso!
Well it looks like casseroles win it for the past year. I can’t say I’m surprised. Nothing better than a double cheesy baked casserole to warm you up in the cold months. This Homemade Baked Macaroni and Double Cheese is a good one too. Loaded with cheese and who can say no to Pasta?
And last but not least, Tuna Burgers, my youngest daughter asks me to make these at least once a week. They are fast, easy and yummy. I love eating them in a sandwich but they are also terrific on their own with a simple toss salad. A great way to start off the new year in a healthy mode. So thank you amazing followers and readers of An Italian in my Kitchen, I hope you enjoy what I have to offer in the coming year. Happy 2016 to everyone! Buon Appetito!
