Italian Casatiello Napoletano - Stuffed Savory Bread
Flour, water, yeast, lard, salt & pepper
Parmesan, Pecorino, Fontina, Salame, Pancetta
In the mixer add the yeast & water then add the flour knead to combine.
Add the lard and the salt & pepper. Kneading to form a compact dough.
Form the dough into a ball and place in a clean bowl to rise.
Pat the dough into a small rectangle and fold. Let rest 30 minutes.
Roll the dough into a rectangle and sprinkle with the filling.
Roll the dough up lengthwise.
Place in the prepared bundt or tube pan and top with the eggs.
