Upside Down Streusel Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Ingredients

All Purpose Flour Brown Sugar Granulated Sugar Cinnamon Salt  Butter Eggs Pastry Flour Baking Powder  Baking Soda Milk Vanilla Extract

Step 1

Whisk together flour, sugars, cinnamon and salt in a medium bowl. Mix in the melted butter to form coarse crumbs.

In a large bowl cream butter and sugar, then add the eggs and beat until light and fluffy.

In another medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Step 4

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, alternately with the sour milk, ending with the sour milk. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

Step 5

Place part of the streusel mixture on the bottom of the prepared bundt cake pan.

Step 6

Spoon half of the batter on top, top with the remaining crumb mixture, then finish with the remaining batter.

Bake until done. Remove the cake from the oven and let cool in the pan, then move to a clean plate, cut and serve.
