This easy delicious Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix is made with 4 ingredients, no powdered milk added. Perfect for warming up during these cold & dreary days!
Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place in a food processor or blender. Whisk the cocoa, salt and sugar in a separate bowl.
Pulse or blend the chocolate until it becomes a powder.
Add the cocoa mixture and again blend or pulse until completely combined and all the ingredients have become a powder.
Transfer the mix to an airtight container and store in a cool dry area. Enjoy!

If substituting powdered/icing sugar for caster sugar, use 2 tablespoons less.How to use the mix - Heat the milk, approximately 1 - 1 1/4 cups (depending how big your mug is) in a pot until hot, whisk in 1 - 1 1/2 heaping tablespoon of mix, continue to whisk until completely combined. Or why not mix some into your hot coffee? And there you have a mocha coffee!The mix should be stored in an airtight container or jar. Keep it in a cool dry place. It will last up to 3 months.
