In a medium bowl whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
In a large bowl beat the cream until stiff. Fold in the sweetened condensed milk mixture, when combined well fold in the chopped chocolate.
Spoon into a loaf pan or freezer-safe container, cover and freeze for 8-12 hours or until firm. Enjoy!
I like to chop a good quality chocolate bar for this recipe but you can always use chocolate chips if you prefer. I use dark chocolate because of the sweetness of the ice cream.For the best texture, store your ice cream in the coldest part of your freezer away from the door so it freezes evenly and doesn’t develop ice crystals. It will keep for up to 2 weeks.
