How to Make Lemon Bread

Whisk flour, baking powder, salt & sugar. Add butter & blend with pastry blender. Stir in lemon zest.

Beat eggs in a small bowl, add milk & combine. Pour into dry ingredients, stir till moistened. Do not over mix.

Pour batter into pan & bake for about 60 mins until toothpick comes out clean. Cool, then transfer to rack.

Combine lemon juice & sugar in pot. Over medium heat, stir constantly & boil till thick. Brush syrup on bread top.
