Unsweetened Cocoa Granulated Sugar Salt Milk Whipping Cream Vanilla Extract Marshmallows

Step 1

In a saucepan whisk together cocoa powder, sugar and salt, and stir in ¼ cup of milk to make a paste.

Step 2

Whisk together the hot cocoa recipe over medium-low heat until smooth while adding remaining milk and cream.

Step 3

When bubbles start to form around the edge, remove the pan from the heat and add vanilla, whisking until smooth.

Step 4

Pour your hot cocoa into mugs and top with mini marshmallows or whipped cream.
