Easy Homemade Puff Pastry

How to Make  Puff Pastry

What you need:

cold water

butter

all purpose flour

salt

Pulse flour, some butter in processor. Add butter in batches for even distribution.

Add water and pulse until dough forms ball. Don't over-process; only 4-5 pulses needed.

Transfer dough to floured surface. Keep surface floured. Form into compact ball gently.

Lightly flour your rolling-pin, roll the dough out to a rectangle approximately 12×18 inches

To create all the flaky layers, fold the rectangle in half and then in half again, like an envelope.

Fold it one more time in half and then wrap it in plastic wrap and chill it for one to two hours.

1. Store the homemade puff pastry in the refrigerator for several days. Be sure it is sealed in plastic wrap.
