How to Make  Potato Gnocchi

What you need:

egg

all purpose flour

salt

Boil unpeeled potatoes until tender, remove the skin and mash. Mix flour and salt, add mashed potatoes and egg to form a soft dough.

Form potato dough into ropes, cut into pieces, and shape with fork. Sprinkle with flour to prevent sticking.

Let the gnocchi rest for 20 minutes before cooking.

Boil gnocchi in salted water until they float. Drain and toss with desired sauce.
