Beat butter until creamy. Then add the sifted icing sugar, corn starch, salt and flour a little at a time.
Move to a lightly floured flat surface and knead until mixture cracks slightly. Pat or roll gently to 1/3″ thickness. Cut out cookies with your favourite cookie cutters.
Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheets or an ungreased non stick cookie sheet and bake.
