This Cherry and Walnut Crumble combines sweet juicy cherries with a buttery walnut topping for an easy, comforting dessert. Delicious served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Pre-heat oven to 350F/180C. Spray or lightly grease and flour a 9 inch / 23 cm square pan.
Spread the cherries on the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and the cinnamon.
In a medium bowl mix together the oats, walnuts, flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar and the melted butter. Sprinkle this over the cherries and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until browned. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 1 day or refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat before serving to warm through and crisp the topping.Freeze the baked and cooled crumble in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, then reheat in the oven until warmed through.
