Finally, finally the heat is ending,  and today as I look out the window we are having a much needed down pour.

It’s cool, sweater weather, which I love. So naturally I am making one of our favourite Casseroles, Creamy Tuna Noodle Casserole for lunch,  and this afternoon I will be making a pot of this …

Baileys Thick Italian Hot Chocolate

I am not a big liqueur lover but I can never say no to Baileys,  I love it straight up over ice and now in a Thick Italian Hot Chocolate.

When I first came to Italy I remember making my friends a steaming cup my Native Hot Chocolate,  at first I didn’t know why they said “well this is different”,  but good!

So one day my kids were telling me about Italian Hot Chocolate and how lick-your-lips-yummy it was and after I tried it,  I totally understood what my kids and friends were talking about.

Yes it was different and it was certainly tasty. If you like your hot chocolate plain, no problem just leave out the Baileys.

Delicious. As a chocolate lover I always felt that traditional hot chocolate was lacking. This is AMAZING! Never making it any other way.

      Hi
Can this hot chocolate be made earlier and then reheated to be served later during a party/get together?!?
      Thanx

Hi Rads, I have never re heated it and then served it, but I think it should work, just keep stirring it on low while reheating. Let me know how it goes. Have a great weekend.

Hi Christine I bought the spoons in a store in Italy near me. That is the only place I have ever seen them, I thought they were so cute. 🙂

This is a fairly old post at this point, so you may have found them.

At any rate, if not, Amazon carries them. Just copy and paste in your search bar, “HSE 5 Pcs Stainless Steel Spoon Bending Hanging Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Spoon Bent Suspension Jam Spoon.”

        Hope this helps!
